Ultrasonic welding: High quality, reproducibility, high productivity
Ultrasonic welding generally takes 0.1-0.5 seconds. For this we can calculate a freezing time of 0.5-1 seconds. So we can say that a very short cycle time can be achieved. Optimally, the scrap does not reach 0.1-0.2%. Clean, environmentally friendly. More advanced versions of welders record, store, and even graph 15-25 data about the short welding cycle. In the case of automation, they also communicate with the central PC-PLC.

Understandably, ultrasonic cleaning uses high frequency (typically 20-400 kHz) sound waves in aqueous or organic solution to mechanically remove contaminants from hard surfaces. Under the influence of ultrasound, cavitation occurs in the liquid, during which small bubbles are formed (max. 1µm), which mechanically loosen and detach the dirt from the surface. The dirt settles to the bottom of the tank used in the process. Tiny cavitation bubbles also act on hidden, hard-to-reach parts of the object if the liquid is present here.
It is important to use the right solvent, as the solvent envelops and neutralizes the dirt deposited by the cavitation, preventing it from sticking back to the surface. So the practical efficiency of solvent-free ultrasonic cleaning is close to zero!

Relying on nearly 40 years of professional experience, we fix a lot of failures, despite the fact that manufacturers already make very little technical information available to the public either in manuals, on the Internet, or on direct request.
We have a particularly good relationship with some manufacturers and they also help us with information and spare parts. Unfortunately, some manufacturers are reluctant to cooperate. In this case, it is more difficult, the repair takes a little longer and may fail.

Theoretical and practical education
There are two solutions. One of the solutions is a 1-day (8: 00-16: 30) theoretical and practical training at a joint site with Herrmann Ultrahang Kft. In Budaörs, which we hold 2-4 times a year on request. Usually you have to wait for 10-15 people to apply.
The other solution is to hold theoretical and / or practical training at the Client’s premises, at a pre-arranged time and with a number of staff. Usually 2-3 hours of theory and 2-3 hours of practice, by prior arrangement.

Application technology service
There are also cases where “inherited” technology or a machine has to be operated, or even many scrap parts are made with the best of intentions. It is possible that a team of specialists who were “professionals” in ultrasonic welding left the company. In this case, we will be happy to help you.
The first round requires part drawings (3D model, .step, or .iges format), knowledge of the material of the part, and knowledge of the technical data of the welding machine. A detailed description of the problem, supplemented by photos. The on-site inspection then takes place when the mechanical and welding parameters are refined.

We make sonotrodes and welding nests for any brand of ultrasonic equipment.
We also inspect and re-tune an existing sonotrode and renovate its worn surface. It is essential to know the operating frequency and data of the welding machine, the sonotrode, the existence of 3D models e.g. about the workpiece.
